A 47-year-old Georgia man slipped on the Lulumahu Falls trail this morning and had to be rescued by the Honolulu Fire Department.
HFD sent five units, including 14 personnel, to the trail and set up a landing zone at the Nuuanu Reservoir.
The caller reported that his father slipped and fell on a rock, injuring his knee and perhaps dislocating.
The firefighters arrived at the man by hiking at 11:30 am not far from the start of the trail.
They carried him on a stretcher.
He refused transportation to the hospital and emergency medical services took him and his son to their car.
