Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — What we all have been waiting for, Winter Haven Light Festival I’m back this year too!

The 71st Winter Haven Light Festival was canceled and the city of Tucson returned after denying permission for the festival in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Winterhaven states that the risk of spreading the virus may be low at outdoor festivals because variants of COVID still exist.

We want to ensure that we do everything on our own to ensure that this event is held in the safest way possible, in accordance with city guidelines. As the planning process progresses, we will continue to update the community and advise all residents if changes in city regulations require changes to the plan. We hope you are as excited as we are about this wonderful event returning to the calendar. We will do our best to be the best festival ever. Start planning your holiday decoration, and work together to make this a safe and festive event.

Winter Haven Festival Chair, John Lansdale

The festival dates from December 11th to 26th, daily from 6pm to 10pm, with a drive-through night scheduled for December 26th.
