It’s never too late to take your education further.City organizations offer adult education programs for individuals seeking their own income GED, A high school diploma, also known as HSED, or to improve basic skills.

1. Dominican Center

Dominican Center offers some Adult education program To the inhabitants of flax. In the Adult Basic Education program, students receive one-on-one support in literacy, math, computer literacy, and social studies. In arts and culture programs, students engage in poetry, arts, music and more that enrich the body, mind and spirit.And finally, it offers GED / HSED A preparatory class in partnership with Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Adult education classes are 2470W from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 11:30 am. It is offered at the Dominican Center on Locust Street.

2. Milwaukee Area Technical College

Provided by Milwaukee Area Technical College Adult high school For individuals over the age of 16 seeking a high school diploma. Courses are offered face-to-face and online. Applications can be found at the Campus Welcome Center in downtown Milwaukee, 700 W. State St., Room S115, or Main Building Room, M222C. The program offers daytime, evening and weekend classes.

3. Adult Learning Center

NS Adult Learning Center, 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. Helps adult students prepare for an equivalent high school diploma or GED exam.To get started, individuals can apply online under “Become a student” tab.. The tuition fee is $ 20 per semester and lasts 16 weeks.

4. YWCA Southeast Wisconsin

For YWCA Southeast Wisconsin Adult Education Department.. Adults can participate in the GED preparation program. This program helps you prepare for the GED exam through one-on-one tutoring, open lab hours, and classroom-style instruction.Sign up for more information Information session, Thursdays at 9am and 1pm.

5. Journey House

Journey house Basic skills / GED program In both Spanish and English. Classes to help prepare for the GED exam are for residents over the age of 18. Students can find the best class for their schedule.
