Located in the heart of Milwaukee School of Technology, the Gromann Museum is a key element in building a dynamic and vibrant campus community. In this role, the museum’s influence extends beyond the university to the Greater Milwaukee community.

So, from my point of view, the key to creating and maintaining support for art is the community. I have witnessed all levels of support for Milwaukee’s art here at the UWM Museum (now INOVA), the Hagati Museum in Marquette, and now the Gromann Museum. Essential to each of these, and many other art venues and outlets, is the widespread programming that demonstrates the value of investing and supporting Milwaukee’s art, embracing different communities.

Few cities consistently offer the highest quality of diversity offered by the Milwaukee art community. Our future success and future support for Milwaukee’s art lies in further embracing community dialogue and partnerships.
