Jefferson County, Missouri (KMOV.com)-A man in Jefferson County, Missouri is sentenced to up to 15 years in prison after being convicted of seducing a teenager to have sex with her and attempting to create child pornography. Was imposed.

Earl Rice Jr., 63, was convicted of a federal crime on Monday. Officials say he chatted with a teenage girl through a dating app and showed that he was interested in traveling from Ditmar, Missouri to Belleville, Illinois and having sex with her. On Valentine’s Day 2018, federal officials say he intended to arrive with condoms, alcohol and candles and take his teens to the hotel. Rice Jr. then had sex with a teenager and created a sexually explicit image of her.

Belleville police arrested Rice Jr. the next day. The sentence is scheduled for January 27, 2022.
