Flowery Branch, Georgia (AP) —The Atlanta Falcons have announced receiver Julio Jones and Center Alex Mac for Sunday’s match in Kansas City.

Jones, who was elected seven times in the Pro Bowl, will miss three games in a row due to a hamstring injury. Mack, a six-time Pro Bowl pick, misses his first game of the season with a concussion.

The third starter, left guard James Carpenter, will not be able to play due to an inguinal injury.

Free Safety Ricardo Allen is described as suspicious of concussion. Allen fully participated in Thursday’s practice. Return specialist Brandon Powell (feet) and rookie defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (knees) are allegedly suspicious.

Russell Gauge starts at the 2nd place receiver spot, and Calvin Ridley regains 1st place in Jones. Matt Hennessy replaces Mac and Justin McRae starts from the Carpenter spot.

The Falcons (4-10) took a break on Friday as they were preparing to play against the Chiefs (13-1).

Jones, the active leader in the NFL’s 58 100-yard games, needs another 100-yard game to put Marvin Harrison third on the career list after Jerry Rice (76) and Randy Moss (64). ..
