Greeley, Colorado — A jury convicted Kenneth Hoscouer, 40, for the second murder of Christopher Grau’s death.

Weld County Law Office

On July 6, 2019, Firestone police were summoned to a camper van on Weld County Road 28.

When authorities arrived, they found Grau lying unresponsively on the ground with a gunshot wound on his head.

Police placed 13 cartridge cases near Grau’s body.

According to officials, Hoschouer, Hoshouer’s wife, Grau, and Grau’s girlfriend, who is also Hoshcouer’s sister, were at Lakewood’s home on July 5, 2019.

Hoschouer was drinking a lot when he learned that his teenage daughter was dating a 22-year-old man. He was angry and his wife didn’t talk to him about the relationship and started fighting her.

Grau tried to make the situation worse and was able to drive Hoshuer out of the house.

In an attempt to calm Hoschouer, Grau took him to a Firestone camper. Hoschouer then shot and killed Grau.

Hoschouer was arrested in September 2019 after police found a murder weapon hidden in a vent in Hoschouer’s house with the help of an HVAC service company.

The hearing of the judgment is scheduled for 11:00 am on December 29th. He faces 16-48 years at the Colorado Correctional Bureau.
