NS. LOUIS COUNSTY (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis County jury convicted a 75-year-old man on Thursday for several felony charges.
Walter May, 75, was brought to justice after being charged with shooting someone multiple times after a debate over repairing a victim’s apartment in North County on November 15, 2016.
“In this case, a 75-year-old man would probably be put in jail for the rest of his life over a debate over home repairs,” said Wesley Bell, a St. Louis County prosecutor. “People need to lower their guns and find a peaceful way to resolve disagreements.”
The jury was convicted in May of falsifying evidence in first-class assaults, armed criminal proceedings, and felony charges. The sentencing trial was set on January 6th.
