Rigonia, PA (KDKA) – While tracking Rigonia at high speed, more than 1,500 suspected heroin stamp bags were thrown out of the car.
Rigonia Valley police say they were overturned by the mass of heroin that was to be carried through the area.
The car slowed down when police found it involved near the intersection of Route 30 and Route 711 at the GetGo gas station.
Police say the car turned some side streets in an attempt to get the police off the trail before stopping at Route 711 near Darlington Lector Road. Police say there the passenger has thrown away his shoes and heroin.
Police found the shoes and said K-9 km searched the area and found a white plastic bag nearby. According to police, police have found 30 bricks suspected of being heroin, about 1,500 bags.
Police did not say whether they were arrested or charged.
