Kansas City, Missouri — At Kansas State University, all employees are required to be vaccinated with COVID-19.

According to the university, the Kansas Board has released guidance stating that President Joe Biden’s presidential order to vaccinate all federal officials will apply to research universities.

For guidance, K-State requires all employees to be vaccinated, regardless of whether they are engaged in a federal contract.

University officials said K-State is working on more than 275 federal contracts and agreements.

Vaccine requirements also apply to students employed by the university.

The deadline for complete vaccination against COVID-19 is December 8. If you miss the deadline or do not receive tax exemption, you will be banned from working.
