Wichita, Kansas (KSNW) – Kansas Honor Flight No. 84 participants were greeted by a large crowd at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Tuesday.
The Patriotic Welcome Home celebration was held in the ballroom due to the size of the group.
The honorary flight departed on Monday, carrying one Korean War veteran, 118 Vietnam War veterans and their guardians to Washington, DC.
Veterans visited the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the US Navy Memorial, the US Air Force Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

The group toured the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Fort McHenry National Monument and a historic shrine.
