Noble County, Oklahoma (KFOR) – A man in Junction City, Kansas, died after a crash on Saturday morning in Noble County, Oklahoma.
According to a news release on the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Suresh Shrestha died of internal head and torso injuries during a collision south of Interstate 35, nine miles north of Perry.
According to a news release, the 2020 Toyota Corolla I-35 when he left the right side of the road and collided behind the 2016 Freightliner, which was legally parked on the southbound shoulder of the I-35. I was driving south.
The Shrestha was locked inside Toyota for about 25 minutes after the crash. Once released, he was taken by ambulance to Enid’s St. Mary’s Community Medical Center.
He died in the hospital.
The state of Shrestha at the time of the crash was described in a news release as “sleepy.”
