Pratt County, Kansas (KCTV)-The Kansas Department of Investigation has arrested police officers on suspicion of child and battery abuse.

According to KBI, the agent arrested 33-year-old Tate M. Rosenbaum at his residence in Pratt around 6:20 pm on Thursday.

Rosenbaum is an officer of the Medicine Lodge Police Department, KBI said.

As mentioned earlier, he was arrested for one count of child abuse and one count of batteries. The accusation is related to the incident that took place on July 22nd.

KBI began their investigation the next day after Pratt police sought help from them.

Rosenbaum is booked at Pratt County Prison.

According to KBI, Pratt County lawyers are expected to be prosecuted in this case.
