Manhattan, Kansas (KSNW) — Former Arkansas State University and Arkansas State University security guard Digi Sills has committed to Kansas State University. His social media feed.

Sills committed to Kansas after entering the transfer portal on March 31st. He came in 9th on a nearly brand new list, with two faces from last season, Ismael Masoud and Marquis Snowwell, back.

Sills was Arkansas’ second best scorer last season, and his best match of the season was against Arkansas’ Pine Bluff, scoring 25 points. He finished with 15 double-digit scores last season.

Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, he is coming to Manhattan for his final year of qualification. He started his career in Arkansas, playing a total of 64 games and averaging 9 points per game with 42.7% shooting.

After supporting the Razorbacks to the first elite eight since 1995, Sills entered the transfer portal and returned to Arkansas. In Arkansas, he averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

“When Desi is at its best, he plays a fearless brand of basketball. He’s aggressive in transitions, tough and off bounds, and don’t worry about contact on the rim,” 247Sports said. Curtis Wilkerson told KSN.

Wilkerson also said about Sills that although his 3-point percentage may seem low, he can do a hot streak to lead the team to victory.

After graduating from high school in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sills was the third-largest player in the state, according to 247Sports. He led the hurricane to the state championship twice in a row, averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Sills also helped his high school team in the first undefeated season since 1954.

As a rookie in the 2018 class, Sills was named a 3-star rookie in the 247Sports Overall Ranking. It averages all three major recruiting services: 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN.

He brings veteran leadership to the roster that Tang built primarily through transfers. In the four seasons since entering college, Sills has played 126 games, started 74 games and averaged 24.3 minutes.
