Kansas City, Missouri (KCTV) – Another Kansas City Fire Department employee died of the coronavirus.
Greater Kansas City firefighters said Scott Davidson died early Sunday morning from a complication of COVID-19.
From the bottom of my heart, I have to contact you again with the news of the line of duty of a KCFD member.
Communication specialist / paramedic Scott Davidson died early this morning from a complication of COVID-19.
Scott was a devoted member of the communications department of the Kansas City Fire Department. Scott also served as emergency medical care, and services to the city of Kansas City included MAST ambulance services.
His death and the deaths of the current three KCFD members due to the virus remind us that the virus has reached all departments of the fire department. We must remain vigilant for the protection of all members and recognize the sacrifices and services they have provided to the community in Kansas City, Missouri.
And again, don’t hesitate to contact one of your brothers and sisters to talk to 42 Cares or ask for help while dealing with this tragic event during this difficult time. ..
Keep Brother Scott Davidson’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
On Saturday, KCFD fire brigade commander Robert “Bobby” Rocha died after the battle with COVID-19.
KCFD also lost EMT Billy Balmingham due to COVID-19 in April this year.
