Kansas City, Kansas (KCTV)-The Kansas City Public Schools Commission, Kansas, requires all qualified staff and onsite volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID or to agree to weekly testing.

This means that all staff will be required to record COVID immunity by December 3rd.
“Staff who do not follow the testing policy and are not vaccinated are subject to the KCKPS Progressive Discipline Policy,” said the district’s announcement.
All staff who show evidence of vaccination will have an additional 5 days of sick leave added to their annual contract.
“If a staff member gets sick with COVID-19 from work exposure, up to 14 sick days are covered,” says Release.
