KDHE reports 1,817 more coronavirus cases in Kansas, 25,000 more vaccinations – Wichita, Kansas

Wichita, Kansas (KSNW) —The number of Kansas in line to vaccinate for COVID-19 increased over the weekend.

Since Friday morning, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) reports that 6,934 Kansas received the first vaccination, 7,131 received the second vaccination, and 10,935 received the third vaccination. I am. This is a total of 25,000 dose increases over the weekend.

According to KDHE, 61.54% of Kansas have been vaccinated at least once, and 54.91% have completed a series of vaccinations.

KDHE has also updated information about cases of Kansas coronavirus. Three more Kansas deaths are associated with COVID-19, bringing the state to deaths at 6,071. An additional 38 Kansas were hospitalized with COVID-19. KDHE does not track recovery.

Since the update on Friday, 1,817 Kansas have been positive for coronavirus and 3,926 have been negative. Of the new cases, 52 are COVID-19 delta variants. The graph below contains the county case since the beginning of the pandemic.
