Keizer, Oregon –
August 3rd is National Night Out, a time for members of all communities to meet and celebrate their connections with neighbors and law enforcement agencies. Any party who wants to stop by the local government must register the party by July 28th.
Nationwide, on the first Tuesday of August, the community gathers to celebrate the positive connection between the community and local law enforcement agencies.
Residents are advised to turn on the lights, lock the doors and spend the night with their neighbors from 6pm to 9pm.
The event aims to foster connections between local members and local law enforcement agencies, so Kaiser Police Department staff will drop in and greet the party along with Kaiser Fire Department and Marion Country Fire Department # 1.
Organizers who register a party with the police can expect a stop-by visit from a police officer sometime in the evening. Certain time slots are not available.
You can register the party at. www.keizer.org/national-night-out-2021. Registration must be submitted by 5 pm on Wednesday, July 28th.
Some officers will be accompanied by other police or city officials. Due to the large number of parties, executives can’t stay all the time, but they want to make time to talk to community members and answer questions.
