The Felony Probation Unit of the Kern County Probation Department announced the arrest and seizure of firearms and drugs in a news release on Monday.
Officers assigned to the Felony Probation Unit of the Kern County Probation Office made a home call on Thursday at 300 blocks on Irvine Street in Bakersfield.
While there, officers contacted 22-year-old Anthony Bishop, who is under community supervision after the release, and 34-year-old Chandra Jeffries, who is under compulsory probation. During the search, police officers discovered a 12-gauge shotgun, a .38 special revolver, a large number of caliber live ammunition, a suspicion of 4 grams of methamphetamine, and various other weapons, according to a news release.
Bishop and Jeffreys were arrested on suspicion of drug and weapons crimes and probation violations.
