Kern County Public Health Services reported one new confirmed coronavirus death and 56 new cases on Tuesday.
This brings the county deaths from the virus to 1,401 and the number of cases to 110,673.
Public health reports that 39,951 people have recovered from their illness, and it is estimated that 68,316 have recovered.
This is a breakdown of the age of positive cases. 13,582 people under the age of 17. 66,730 people aged 18-49. 20,064 people aged 50-64. 10,204 people aged 65 and over.
The state reports that 26 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Khan, eight of whom were in the intensive care unit.
