Kern County Public Health Services reported 145 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus on Friday, with no new deaths.
This brings the total number of Khan cases since the outbreak of the pandemic to 113,216 and killed 1,425.
Thirty-eight delta variant cases were identified and 70 alpha variant cases were identified.
Public health is currently updating its numbers daily from Monday to Friday.
Public health reports that 41,128 people have recovered from their illness, with an estimated 68,595 people recovering.
This is a breakdown of the age of positive cases. 14,051 people under 17 years old. 68,353 people aged 18-49. 20,447 people aged 50-64. 10,322 people aged 65 and over.
The state reports that 76 people have been hospitalized in COVID-19 in Khan, 17 of whom are in the intensive care unit.
