Fast food chain KFC has launched a new Intel-powered game console with a built-in “chicken chamber” to keep snacks warm.

“The bargain bucket-shaped machine features the world’s first built-in chicken chamber, which is kitted for keeping the contents hot and ready to consume during intense gaming sessions,” KFC added. ..

The chicken is kept hot thanks to a custom cooling system that keeps the console hardware at a constant temperature while using the heat generated by the components to heat the chicken chamber.

According to the Cooler Master website, other specifications include an Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element and two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD drives for storage.

According to details published by Cooler Master, the console can handle virtual reality games and provides smooth gameplay thanks to a frame rate of 240 frames per second and 4K display compatibility.

“This machine can run games with top-level specs, and it can keep your meals warm during the gaming experience … what do you hate?”, PR and social media leader. Said Mark Cheevers. KFC UK & Ireland, the company’s press release.

“If you need tips on how Sony or Microsoft can design a poultry house for your next effort, please contact us.”

Intel said it had nothing to add to the details released by Cooler Master or KFC, and did not comment on pricing or release dates when contacted by CNN. KFC did not immediately respond to the request for comment.

This isn’t the first time a fast food chain has collaborated with another brand.

In February, KFC and Crocs unveiled the KFC X Crocs Bucket Clog, a limited edition shoe covered with fried chicken prints. And in December 2019, the fast food chain partnered with artificial fire logging company Enviro-Log to provide 11 herbs and spices fire logs with chicken scent.
