Krewe of House Floats returns for second year – New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans, Louisiana 2021-11-25 09:02:00 –

House Floats’ Krewe is back for the second year in a row after the pandemic gave birth to the idea. Megan Boudreaux of Krewe of House Floats said registration has begun for anyone who wants to add a decorated house to the map. “We plan and want to do this in traditional Mardigra. We are really excited to co-exist with all the old traditions,” Boudreaux said. Registered people will receive krewe stolen goods. Organizers say they are excited to bring Mardi Gras to areas where traditionally they may not be able to host these big parades. “There are already people in California, Virginia and the UK who have signed up to do that again,” Boudreaux said. “The spirit of Mardigra could be on Gentile and St. Charles Avenue, Virginia.” Registration is open until 12 nights at KreweofHouseFloats.org.
