Albuquerque, New Mexico 2021-07-19 11:01:52 –

Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – KRQE Cares Food for Kids is partnering with Smith’s to contribute to the community by collecting non-perishable foods during July. Food will be donated to the Title 1 McKinney Vent Program at Albakirk Public School, which cares for more than 3,000 homeless students. Homeless means living in a car with family, shelter, family and friends.

From July 1st to 31st, you can drop your food in the box in front of each Albuquerque Kismis store. If you need help for the homeless, please contact APS McKinney-Vento using the referral form. https://www.aps.edu/title-i/mckinney-vento-program/student-referral-form..
