Kansas City, Missouri — For most of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Kansas Health System offers weekday morning video updates where doctors answer questions from Facebook viewers. These updates are also used by doctors to provide up-to-date information on the pandemic situation in Kansas City.

Dr. Stephen Stites is the Chief Health Officer of the University of Kansas Health System and is often the “host” of updates. For months, he has shared his thoughts on the coronavirus and its vaccine against it, and often his candid opinions.

Stites are also Christians. This week he talked to KSHB 41 News about conversations with people of other faiths and what he learned about his faith during the pandemic.
