La Vista offers small-town holiday feel at Santa’s Workshop – Omaha, Nebraska

Omaha, Nebraska 2021-12-04 12:35:20 –

La Vista, Nevada (KMTV) —The City of La Vista has transformed Central Park into La Vista Wonderland. Wright, reindeer, and Mr. and Mrs. Klaus themselves are available.

“Our holiday feeling is that we want people to have a magical experience,” said Mitch Beaumont, City Communications Manager.

Santa’s workshop will welcome La Vista’s delighted children for three nights.

The event was held entirely outdoors last year due to a pandemic, but this year children can take pictures with Santa on the workshop porch before visiting Mrs. Klaus inside.

“This year, we decided to meet in the middle and have some experience inside. We decided to limit the interaction as much as possible. Please limit the number of people in the building at any time.”

The city expects more than 1,000 people to visit the park during the holidays. Thanks to the efforts of the public works sector, they hope their love for the community will shine this season.

“As an urban organization, we really specialize in some of these little gestures. It’s just one of the things that makes people feel comfortable, cozy and like a small town.”

Santa’s workshop will be held next Friday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and at the same time on Tuesday, December 14th.

From 10am to noon on Saturday, they host the first Santa Pose celebration. Dog parents can take their pets and take pictures with Santa.
