Police and Henderson police all voluntarily offered their time to guide children from across the valley.

The game was played at UNLV. Anyone between the ages of 6 and 12 is welcome, regardless of experience. The goal of the tournament was to connect police officers and their communities.

“Today is a really great day, because it puts an end to mythology and the false story that police aren’t working in the community, especially here in Las Vegas,” said Sheriff Andrew Walsh of LVMPD. “This is a great event for everyone to unite. Everyone is united. This shows the police and community’s commitment to work together to make it the safest place for people to live.”

Information about upcoming tournaments will be available online..

If you are interested in attending the event, we recommend that you go to the local police station and ask questions.

The competition was canceled in 2020 due to a pandemic.
