Las Vegas bellmen honored for 50 years on the job – Tulsa, Oklahoma

Las Vegas, Nevada (KTNV) — Alonzo Langstaff and Earl Manson have been helping Las Vegas guests carry their luggage for 50 years.

During those 50 years of work, two bellmen and dear friends rubbed their elbows in legend.

“Everything I heard about Elvis, what he did, and what he gave, he really did it,” Langstaff said. “He gave one of our colleagues a car.”

The duo started at Las Vegas International in 1971 and is now known as Westgate.

To celebrate their golden anniversary, the hotel casino staff held a special ceremony in honor of them.

The awards are great, but the years spent together helped them develop something that runs much deeper and doesn’t discolor.

“This is my best friend,” Manson pointed to Langstaff while receiving the award. “This is the best friend I have ever had.”
