Las Vegas (FOX5)-Las Vegas Sands announced on Friday that it will require all team members to wear company-issued face masks while working indoors, regardless of vaccine status.
In a notification emailed to employees, the company said while working in indoor public spaces and indoor areas where people gather, including the employee’s cafeteria (while not actively eating and drinking). He said he needed to warn the face mask.
According to the letter, the changes will take effect immediately.
“In response to new recommendations from the South Nevada Health District, all team members (with or without vaccination) wear company-issued face masks when working in indoor public spaces or indoor areas where people gather. We are obliged to do so, “said executive Keith Salwoski. “In addition, we have revised the signs posted at public entrances to share this new SNHD recommendation. Free face masks are available at the front desk, glazing desk and concierge desk.”
Mask requirements follow Friday morning’s announcement in the Heath district of southern Nevada that authorities recommend wearing masks in crowded public areas, regardless of vaccine status.
Station Casinos said it would not comment on changes in employee mask policies as of Friday afternoon. FOX5 also solicited comments from MGM, Caesars Entertainment, Golden Entertainment, Wynn Las Vegas and South Point.
