Last day for Denver Motor Vehicle in-person service is Friday – Denver, Colorado

Denver (KDVR) – All five Denver Automotive (DMV) branches will not be open to the public from Monday, November 23, the Denver Treasury announced Thursday.

Friday will be the last day for the general public to enter the Denver DMV until further notice.

On November 23, the Taxpayer Service Center will reduce business hours. The center will only be open from 9am to 3pm on Mondays and Thursdays until further notice.

This change is in response to the increase in COVID-19 cases and the transition to “Rebel Red-Safety at Home” in Denver County.

According to the DMV, expired tags will not be enforced in Denver from Monday, November 23, until further notice.

Phone, email and online services will be available. Dropbox is available for dealer transactions that are not available online or by mail.

Driver’s license services and emissions testing are provided by the Colorado Automotive Department.
