Nine South Louisiana SMEs were nominated by Louisiana Economic Development as 2021 Louisiana Growth Leaders.
Both companies were honored at Spotlight Louisiana, an online event held on Thursday. They are all members of the LED Growth Network, made up of more than 500 companies from across the state, and are classified as “second-stage businesses.” Ready to grow beyond the start-up stage, but not yet mature. Enterprises enter the growth network by participating in Phase 2 enterprise programs.
This year’s growth leaders are:
Covington’s Ballad Brand; Peter Boylan III, President,
Baton Rouge BBQ Guys; Russ Wheeler, CEO,
Shreveport Cyberleaf; Hilton Nicholson, CEO,
E-Harvey’s Claim; Thomas Browne, Founder and CEO,
Maintenance and construction of the Genesis 360 facility in Baton Rouge. Craig Stevens, President,
IT was inspired by Baton Rouge. Co-owner and CEO, Rob Wise,
Lafayette’s LogoJET; Susan Cox, President, Founder and Chief Executive Officer,
Baton Rouge Mastery Prep; Craig Gering, Founder and CEO,
Lafayette’s Techneaux Technology Services; Owner and CEO Ben Johnson,
Three Sixty Eight in Baton Rouge; Kenny Nguyen, co-founder and CEO.
A panel of economic development experts from across the state selected growth leaders and evaluated the application based on growth, strategy, innovation, leadership, culture and philanthropy.

Applications will be accepted for the 2022 Louisiana Growth Leader Class from October 1st to November 30th. All LED growth network companies are eligible to apply.
