The second arrest took place on December 26, after the death of a man found lying in a car on the west side of the city. The detective obtained a 24-year-old Mark Hernandez warrant in connection with the murder.
It was on December 26th that police found an unidentified 40-year-old man dead in a car on Leopard Street.
Also charged in connection with the murder is 34-year-old Cefany Isassi. She is facing murder.
Hernandez remains in Nueces County Prison.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested and charged with murder after a man’s body was found in the car early Saturday morning.
Police officers at the Corpus Christi police station arrived at the crime scene at 4800 blocks on Leopard Street around 5:30 am on Saturday and found a 40-year-old man lying dead in the driver’s seat of a car.

Murder investigators were called in to investigate the death further.
The detective soon learned that they were dealing with murder and was informed that Stephanie Isassi, 34, was involved. Later, her arrest warrant was issued with a $ 1 million deposit.
At 5:30 pm that same day, police officers contacted Stephanie Ysassi, flagged for a turmoil at 2200 blocks in Leopard.
She was detained for an unresolved murder warrant and transferred to a city detention center, investigators said.
