Las Vegas (KLAS) — The Lewis Family Park will reopen on Wednesday, June 9, after refurbishment, including a new dog park and a new splash pad.
The park on 1970 Treeline Drive, northeast of Sloan Lane and Sahara Avenue in the East Valley, will reopen at 10 am.
Other improvements include a new lawn, new playsets and safety aspects, and a new fountain with a bottle fill station.
“The Lewis Family Park was built in 1997 and needed to be upgraded to today’s standards,” said Tick Segerblom of Clark County Commission. “We are delighted to be able to modernize this park and refurbish it with Splash Pad, which gives the surrounding area the opportunity to escape the heat of the coming summer.”
