Las Vegas (KTNV) — For the first time in two years, tens of thousands of people have gathered in downtown Las Vegas to attend the Life is Beautiful Festival. The festival was canceled last year due to a pandemic.
“Life is a beautiful baby! I’m very excited to be here,” said Alison Johnson.
A crowd of people helped a lot of local businesses. El Cortez’s general manager said it was the busiest weekend he had ever seen since the pandemic began.
“Sold out. We’re ready. We have a great team here and we welcome you to open the door,” said Adam Wiesberg.
Brian Tsao, the best sushi manager, said:
Last year, the festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Those who attended the concert had to be completely vaccinated or had a negative COVID-19 test.
“It was just incredible to come to Las Vegas. Obviously it’s been a while with the pandemic and everything, but it was incredible. I love being here,” said one attendee. Said.
“It’s very comfortable to be around everyone there because I have to show evidence of vaccination. It’s just a relief,” he said.
