The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a temporary fuel transport exemption to increase gasoline supply, but the Governor’s urgent declaration requires state agencies to issue their own exemptions at the state’s request. In Arlington tonight, almost every gas station along the Lee Highway had a line of cars waiting to be refueled. At least one had stopped the pump with a sign that the gas was “not available”.
