Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) –Live music is back at Florence Senior Home after a 15-month break.
The concert was canceled for more than a year due to COVID, but was allowed to return to the concert as the COVID rate in Douglas County fell below 5% in two weeks.
Jen Smith, director of the activity, said the music would bring memories and joy to the inhabitants who have urged the return of Marymaker singers.
“It’s on the calendar, and every day the inhabitants’can still come? Can they still come?” And I said, “Yes, they’re still coming.”
The concert is currently held at home on a monthly schedule. The resident karaoke night will soon resume.
