Las Vegas (KLAS) — Local artists are bringing vibrant design to some of the downtown Arts District businesses. Conor Fathe-Aazam grew up in South Africa but now makes a living as a graphic designer in Las Vegas.
Through hand lettering, young artists help shape the look and feel of murals.
“We’re really trying to launch the Arts District and spread the culture there. There are a lot of artists here doing really great things and I’m happy to contribute to that,” said Fate Azam. Told. “Creating has always been my passion, it really gives me a sense of accomplishment, I’m really proud of the work you’ve done, the time you’ve spent on it, creating something out of the thin air. Fathe-Aazam also had the unique opportunity to create a large background that stood behind former Vice President Joe Biden at the Southeast Technical Academy in Henderson last week.
