Groceries can also be brought in on Saturday, October 31st, from 9:30 am on Community Food Collection Day. item.
“The number of families, especially first-time visitors, who come to the ICS food bank during a pandemic continues to grow daily,” said Tim Cromer, director of outreach and partnerships at ICS. “The ICS Food Bank is the second largest food pantry in southern Arizona. It is more necessary than ever for the community to work together to solve the hunger problem, and we are very grateful for the support of the community. Bag-A-Thon is essential to help us fill the shelves and provide resources to help families rely on us when needed. “
The ICS is also offering the community the option to raise money online this year rather than withdrawing physical food donations as the pandemic continues.
Over £ 30,000 of food was collected during last year’s drive.
