ORLANDO – God’s Hidden Joy is a new book that parallels the struggles, doubts, fears and ancient stories of exodus that people face today, written by a local minister and major on September 28. It will be available at various bookstores.
John Heber, a pastor of a non-denominational H20 church in downtown Orlando (“a spiritually curious church”), is on 2113 E. South Street, reading a book while reading the Bible’s Exodus. He said he was prompted to write.
“I started writing this to handle my journey of faith, but soon I realized that the ancient escape story was everyone’s story and that this message could help many people.” He said. Because we are all on a “journey of faith” in what we believe in God. “
Heber said he had titled his book “The Hidden Joy of God.” It reveals that “the most important thing we can discover about God, but for many, it is hidden from sight.”
The manuscript provides a Heever perspective of his own life as a devoted husband, a father raising a family of four, while discovering and defining his own identity. It describes how he finally began to bridge the gap between his emotions and faith, and how God led us to situations designed to make us the ones we should be. It’s full of real-life personal stories to reveal.
Hever received some very positive feedback —
“Some Christian books are profound and biblical, some are fun, some are plagued by truth, and some are life-changing. John Hever does all four. I will never read about the escape of God’s people from Egypt to the Promised Land without thinking about God’s hidden joy. This is a refreshing book and game changer. You give it to you. To praise, “I would call me up and blessed.” Steve Brown, a professor and writer at a radio station and seminary.
“Many people are still living as slaves in an era of constant demand for personal freedom. John Heber explains why we live in bondage and Christ’s new life of freedom. He gave me an honest and thorough review of how we can clarify the path to. It’s not easy, but he teaches why it’s a worthwhile journey. Dr. David Swanson, Chief Vicar and Prominent Author of the First Elders Church in Orlando (Learn to be you: Our true identity in Christ frees us! Method and essentials)
“These are just a few of the positive comments I’ve been given, and I was told that this is a timely message of hope in an era when we are in desperate need of hope,” Hever said. Said.
The 220-page paperback published by Emerge Publishing will be available on September 28, where the books are sold or by visiting www.howtoliveunleashed.com.
