Las Vegas (KLAS) — Reimi Mosca, the owner of a local restaurant, is pleased that Vegas is back at full capacity, but recognizes that there is still a way to get back to what we consider “normal.” I hope you will.

“I know a lot of people are celebrating things like we’re reopening, but I’d like you to consider the fact that the pandemic is still going on and some are out of 100% control.” Said. Mosca.

Clark County’s local Covid Mitigation program expires on June 1st, reinstated pre-pandemic guidelines to lift restrictions on capacity limits, large gatherings, and more.

Mosca said he wouldn’t make major changes in his restaurant, but said he would keep the guidelines, such as wearing masks between staff, while spacing out customers who chose to eat in-store. I am.

“For large parties, try to split it into two or three tables,” he said.

This Memorial Day weekend reminds many when talking to people around the town that they are ready for a 100% reopening.

“It’s great to get out of the house outdoors and be around people again,” said Brianna Friedle from California.

“It feels different. It’s getting back to normal a bit, but I still feel like I need to be careful and pay attention to the people around me,” said local Las Vegan, Alan Armello.
