Las Vegas (KLAS) – A fundraiser was set up to help moms who were recently hospitalized for pneumonia and COVID-19.

Shelzene Shinn, 17, said on October 18 that her mother was listed in danger and is currently on ventilator.

“I never thought that when I went to the ER with her, I would lose consciousness in the waiting room and the staff would rush to find the bed. All I had left was my mother,” Shin said. Told.

Shin says her dad’s hat died three years ago and her mom’s experience now in the hospital is very traumatic.

“My mother and I were already doing little work on a 12-hour shift. I had two part-time jobs at the age of 17,” Shin said.

Shin created GoFundMe to support basic living expenses.

“I created this page not only because her hospital invoice is inexpensive, but also because she needs to find funding for all the rent (rent, phone, car, etc.) she left for me.” Shin added.

Shin is a member of a local skate club.
