Local students encouraged to participate in Black History Month art contest – Omaha, Nebraska

Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) — KMTV recognizes Black History Month. One of our goals is to use lessons learned from the past to help those who are now children work for a better future.

On Monday morning, 3 NewsNow reporter Kent Luetzen spoke to Donna Vaughn, coordinator of the 2021 Black History Month Art Contest.

K-12 Nebraska students are encouraged to submit art in any medium.

The student is 2216 N 24th St in Omaha. You can quit your job at the Omahaster newspaper in.

Twelve winners will be selected and prize money will be awarded. The deadline is March 9th.
