Las Vegas (KLAS) — A nationwide shortage of drivers has a significant impact on the supply chain, creating the challenge for stores to keep their shelves in stock.
Now it’s affecting something you might not expect: your waiting time at the airport.
This is because most people travel from the airport to the car rental company by shuttle bus, which is affected by a shortage of drivers.
A tweet from McCarran International Airport recommends planning an extension of the waiting time associated with the shuttle between the airport and the McCarran Car Rental Center.
The center is right next to Gillespie Street, south of the airport, with 10 car rental companies: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hearts, National, Payless, Sixt and Thrifty.
Nothing is said about how the driver shortage is affecting other shuttles operating at the airport.
