Claudet has returned to a tropical cyclone as it works away from the North Carolina coast. The National Hurricane Center issued a tropical cyclone warning on the North Carolina coast earlier this morning due to continued wind threats. As the claudette moves further northeast today, most of the day will be quiet and sunny. The high temperature rises towards 90 along the coast and returns inland in the mid-90s.

A cold front is approaching across the Carolinas on Tuesday, but more showers and storms will occur. Watch out for the weather tomorrow! It cools to around 80 on Wednesdays and then warms up again on weekends. The isolated storm will last for the rest of the weekdays and weekends.

Tonight: Cloudy, warm and humid in some places. Low: 72-74 inland, 76 beach.
