Loris, South Carolina (WBTW) —According to the Holly County Sheriff’s Office, a Loris man was charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
According to the sheriff’s office, Lander Dean Sales, 31, was convicted of assault in April 2020 and had to be registered as a sex offender. Parliamentarians also said they would need to register twice a year on November 9, 2020.
As of May 18, Sole’s was unable to contact the sheriff’s office and register as a sex offender, lawmakers said.
According to booking records, Sales was booked at the J. Ruben Long Detention Center on Monday and was held there without warranty.
