rookie Patriot Quarterback Mac Jones threw his first touchdown with Dolphins in the second quarter of Sunday’s season opener. Teammates seemed to think Jones wanted the ball.

Apparently Jones did not do it.. When his teammate tried to give it to him, he returned it twice, jogging on the bench, where he fell and began to breathe.

The touchdown was 2:30 left in the first half. Jones performed a play action and returned to his left. As the dolphin approached, he fired at Nelson Agroll near the 3-yard line. Agora sprinted into the end zone, giving Patriot a 10-7 lead.

The dolphins marched down the field and transformed the field goals that tied the game before halftime.

Jones finished the first half 14-19 at 133 yards. He was once fired for a loss of 13 yards. Before his touchdown, there was probably the best pass in the first half. This is another connection with Agroll.

Jones’ touchdown drive and his first half numbers helped him recover after an unimpressive first pass attempt that was determined to be fumble.

Dolphins’ first quarterback, Jones’ former Alabama teammate Tua Tagovailoa, finished the first half 9-17 at 128 yards.
