Florence, South Carolina (WBTW) —According to Captain Mike Brandt of the Florence Police Department, a man has been accused of assaulting two Florence police officers.

Darlington’s Marquis Suit, 34, was arrested and charged with chaotic behavior, three assaults, threats to civil servants, and two assaults on police officers.

At around 10:53 pm Wednesday, police were called to MacLeod Hospital to report a drunk man, according to Mr. Brant. According to Brant, the suit was found to be detained by the guards as he shouted blasphemous words and threatened the guards.

According to Brant, the suit tried to kick the police car window, kicked a chest cop, and spit on another cop. He has been accused of continuing to threaten officers on the scene.

According to Brant, the suit was taken to Florence County Detention Center with a $ 11,000 deposit.
