Man accused of attempted murder found guilty, faces life sentence for 2019 domestic violence case – Honolulu, Hawaii

Honolulu (KHON2) — A judge on the Oahu Circuit Court found Theodore Kim guilty of one attempted murder.

Kim, 62, confronted his ex-girlfriend at the Nimitz Highway bus stop. October 2, 2019. He fired her a shotgun three times, but she was unharmed. At the time of the incident, Kim’s ex-girlfriend already had a positive temporary restraint order against him.

The 62-year-old boy faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. He was also convicted of one crime and three firearm crimes that violated a temporary detention order. Kim’s decision was set on January 26, 2022.
