A 21-year-old man accused of having an accident while driving drunk will be charged with manslaughter after the death of one of the injured on Tuesday.

A man in the other vehicle carrying two passengers was kicked out and seriously injured. He was admitted to the intensive care unit and later died of an injury. He was identified as 27-year-old Jesus Garcia.
One passenger was seriously injured but not life-threatening. The other was slightly injured.
The driver, 21-year-old Leroy Jasso Jr., is believed to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested on two charges of addiction assault. One of these allegations will be upgraded to manslaughter, Pena said.
Yasso was arrested on November 20 and booked in Nueces County Jail. Since then he has been detained.
