Man arrested in connection with 3 deadly shootings in North Las Vegas on Monday | News – Las Vegas, Nevada

Update (September 8th)- North Las Vegas police announced on Wednesday that suspects had been arrested in connection with three shootings on Monday night in multiple parts of North Las Vegas.

Police in North Las Vegas initially said the three murders were irrelevant. However, on Wednesday, NVLPD officer Alexander Quevas said in an email that further investigation by the detective agency revealed that the murder was later related.

Tristan Tidwell, 35, was subsequently arrested and booked at the NLV CCC, the agency said on Twitter.

Las Vegas (FOX5)-North Las Vegas police say they are investigating three unrelated shooting murders on Monday night.

At 7:38 pm on September 6, police officers were called into the Silver Nugget Casino area north of Las Vegas Boulevard, 2100 blocks, in search of a corpse.

The man was clearly declared dead on the scene with a gunshot wound.

At around 7:55 pm, police were called in for a man with a clear gunshot wound on the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive near Cheyenne Avenue in the Emerald Estate Complex.

The man was taken to a university medical center where he was sentenced to death.


Approximately an hour later, at 9 pm, police were notified of a shooting at 3200 blocks on Mary Dee Avenue on Cheyenne Avenue. The man was declared dead on the scene with a gunshot wound. Investigation is ongoing.

Police said shooting was not considered relevant at this stage of the investigation.

On Monday night, the detective appeared at all murder scenes and an investigation is underway. Anyone with information was asked to call NLVPD at 702-633-9111.
